Hi,
My Name is Molly and I am the youngest child of Justapearl Brown. I have had the great pleasure of having my mom live with me for the past 5 years. She is such a wonderful Mother and friend. We do things together with the seniors at the Recreation center all of the time. The lord blessed me by providing me with such a special lady as "JUSTAPEARL".

Recently we have had a wonderful experience with some family that Mom has not seen in 25 years and I have not seen in 43 years.

The name of this wonderful cousin is Sherry McGhee. She is married to a really great guy by the name of James McGhee. It seems starange that her name is McGhee, because it was McGee at her birth.

She arrived here on Friday and really had a great time. Mom had prepared a roast and I had salad for us all. Mom also fixed a vege plate and it was all really good.

On Saturday we took them to the Smokey Mountains to a place called Cades Cove. We stopped on the way at a place called "Woods and Strings". That is where I first got to hear Sherry sing. WOW! what a voice. When she began to sing it brought goose bumps all over me. She did so well that the owners of the shop wanted to know if we could stop on the way back and have her sing a little more..

The store owners Mike and Connie wanted to know if Sherry lived close enough that she could come and sing at the program on Saturday nights. It is called "Picken on the Porch". It is a great setting right at the mouth of the Smokies in Townsend, TN. When I explained that she lived in Mississippi they were very sorry that she didn't live closer.

On our trip to Cades Cove we saw deer and turkey's and just missed seeing a bear. We really had a great time. On the way back we stopped and had dinner at a nice little Mexican place. The service was bad but, the food was good once we got it.

On Sunday Sherry and Jame came by to tell us goodbye. But that was a short visit and I wished that it could have been much longer.

Sherry and I became very good friends during that time and I was sorry to see them leave. So was Mom she even cried and then Sherry started to cry and then me. So we all tried to cover up are little cry but each of us new about the other.

All in all it was a wonderful three days and I would have not traded it for the world. Now Sherry and I IM each other all of the time. What a gal.

I also what to thank my sister for setting up this blog for the family it is great and I hope that many of the family share there thoughts and experiences. I will encourage Mom to write about things from the past on all of our family.

Hi, there y'all. I am Justapearl's niece, twice removed? She is my great aunt. She was my mother, Cartella's aunt. I had the pleasure of visiting Aunt Pearl and Molly and Eddie last week. We can't forget the Harley, Dumb Blonde and WeeMan -- the dogs. We had a fantastic trip with a guided tour by Eddie of Cade's Cove. My goodness, it had been so long since we'd all seen each other. Thank you for the pictures and the memories. I treasure them.

James and I got home last Tuesday and are still talking about our trip several times a day. The warmth of my family is genuine. You are loving people, and I am so proud to be in the family!

Thanks for letting me show off my voice. I don't sing very often any more - no outlet. I will dust off the cobwebs, get out the autoharp and guitar and get my "chops" back in time for your visit!

That's all for now. Starting a new project at work and have some distance learning to finish this morning. I took my maiden trip on our Honda VTX 1800 cc trike this morning. What a blast! C'mon down, and as my husband would say, "We'll treat you so many ways, you'll have to like one of them."

Love,

Sherry
